In this particular event, players must aid Shadow Company in securing a chemical weapon threat before it falls into the hands of Konni forces. Activision also shared a teaser image for the event that depicts red smoke engulfingthe Zaya Observatory on the Al Mazrah map.
Although Season 5 will begin on August 2 inModern Warfare 2andWarzone, theCall of Duty2023worldwide reveal will be held at a later date. During Season 5,Warzoneplayers may also choose to side with Task Force 141 or Shadow Company in the “Faction Showdown” event, but this particular event is separate fromWarzone’sin-game reveal for the nextCall of Dutytitle.
