Bugs and glitches forCall of Duty: Modern Warfareoften appear in the public Trello board which shows the priorities of the development team. One problem that seems to be making a reappearance is an issue with the Munitions box handling ammo capacity on guns.Modern Warfarefans will now have another thing to watch out for while fighting through their match.

The problem revolves aroundtheModern Warfareammoand Munitions Box. This box dispenses ammo and secondaries to players only being activated once per player. While normally players assume that the box has filled their weapons to max capacity, this Reddit user has noticed something odd to his ammo count.

When building a loadout, players have the option to attach fully loaded to their weapons. If the primary and secondary guns both share a caliber then players can exceed the max ammo capacity to compensate for the double draw on ammunition. This is fine until playersaccess the Munitions Boxwhich actually takes away ammo from the player. In the example, Reddit user DogAteMyNandos starts with 200 bullets in reserve. Once they access the Munitions Box the ammo reserve goes from 200 to 172 draining them of 28 extra bullets.

Ammo sharing has been atopic of theModern Warfarecommunitysince fans noticed the opportunity for an increased supply of ammo. Several bugs and glitches have appeared in association with the process with the weapons reacting differently in Multiplayer andWarzone. This is the second time that this particular bug has appeared in the game, with the previous incident being a confined scenario.

Strategically, there is nothing more disconcerting then to see an ammo supply reduce after using the one item in the game that is supposed to increase it. Although the ammo sharing feature could be seen as an exploit, the developers have yet to patch it out or make any mention of it.

Fans thatencounter thisModern Warfarebugshould submit a report to Activision as soon as possible. This report will help the development team know the importance of this minor fix and maybe earn it a spot on the public Trello board. Fan feedback has thus far been taken seriously by the development team with their priorities shifting based on the severity of each bug on a case by case basis. Till this is fixed, players are best to avoid Munitions Boxes when using the ammo sharing feature in Multiplayer matches.
