Capcom is set to launchMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruinon the Switch and PC via Steam in just a few months, and more pre-order info has come out of the woodwork. Fans of the originalMonster Hunter Storiesback on the 3DS will be happy to know that there’s a ton of neat content and goodies that they’ll be able to get by ordering one of the special editions of the game.
Monster Hunter Storiesis a spin-off of the mainline franchise that features a turn-based battle system and the player acts as a Monster Rider, instead of a Monster Hunter. The side series is known to be more cinematic and narrative-focused than the core games, and with this new entry, Capcom is really putting the focus on the story.

For those that pre-orderMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruinon the Switch eShop or on Steam will receive theKamura Maiden Outfitfor a character named Ema. This bonus item will be available for owners of the digital and the physical version.
There’s also a Deluxe Edition forMonster Hunter Stories 2that costs $79.99 –$10 extra compared to the original version of the game. The Deluxe kit comes with the following items:
And as far as the game’s collectors edition, there’s no price just yet and it’s not available to pre-order, but it’s exclusive to GameStop and it has everything that the Deluxe edition has, except it throws in a Razewing Ratha amiibo, a Wings of Ruin Enamel Pin, and extra stickers.
And last but not least, there are threeMonster Hunter Stories 2amiibothat are planned to launch on July 9 with the game, which are the Razewing amiibo mentioned earlier, Ena, and Tsukino. Each of the three amiibo can be scanned into the game to unlock different types of layered armor sets. The amiibo will also be another GameStop exclusive for the US, and an EB Games exclusive for Canadian folks.
