MultiVersus’Game Director Tony Huynh teases the next two updates for the game, which will reportedly be “really big.” Since the release ofMultiVersus’open beta, a lot of gamers have been thoroughly enjoying the experience of the platform fighter. With a whole host of interesting characters that wouldn’t usually share a screen together, such as Batman and Steven Universe, for example, manyMultiVersusplayers are always looking to see which fighters will join the roster in the next updates.

WhileMultiVersusoften delivers on bringing in a new character to join the roster with its big patches, such as when Rick was introduced in patch 1.03, there are more changes that Player First Games makes than just throwing another fighter into the mix. AsMultiVersus’popularity has grown in the months since its release, its updates have made some substantial changes to the game’s format and how it is played. Update 1.02, for example, heavily altered thehitboxes for eachMultiVersuscharacter, hoping to prevent more fan complaints about moves hitting them when they shouldn’t have.
