The Rise of The Paranormal Liberation Front
Shigaraki Takes Over as Leader of the Paranormal Liberation Front
Tomura Shigaraki takes over the Paranormal Liberation Front along with his comrades from the League of Villains, and stragglers from the Meta Liberation army after defeating Re-Destro. Gigantomachia was alsopart of the Paranormal Liberation Frontand chose to follow Shigaraki. With Shigaraki as their leader, the Paranormal Liberation Front consisted of Lieutenants - Re-Destro and the members of the League of Villains, Warriors, Nomus and Associates, such as Hawks (double agent) and Overhaul.
After assembling his comrades,Shigaraki then planned his move to replaceand get rid of the current hero society and create a new society of their own, where they can rule the way they want. The attack on the Paranormal Liberation Front was pure chaos as multiple attacks took place at once - The hospital scenario between the Nomus and the pro heroes, The battle between the heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front members at the Gunga Mountain Villa, which wasalso the headquarters of the Paranormal Liberation Front, and the battle to evacuate the civilians living in Jaku City as Gigantomachia made his way destroying buildings and Shigaraki using his decay quirk to destroy nearly half of the city while causing even more casualties.

Initially, the hospital raid team made their way to Dr. Kyudai Garaki’s hospital to take down the Nomus and release the innocents who were kidnapped for experiments. Rumi Usagiyama otherwise known as Mirko plays a vital role in this operation as she takes the charge of defeating Nomus while preventing Dr. Kyudai’s escape and attempt to wake Shigaraki who was undergoing an operation to make him stronger. However, the heroes manage to stop Dr.Kyudai from reaching the tank Shigaraki was in but ends up damaging it. Shigaraki falls out of the tank assumed dead, but is brought back to life by a live wirethat falls onto the liquid that surrounds Shigaraki, causing him to come back to life. He then uses his magnified quirk - decay, to destroy the hospital and the surrounding areas of Jaku City.
The villa raid team begins a surprise attack on the Meta Liberation headquarters, where they capture the Meta Liberation Front members. This is also where Twice is killed by Hawks. Shigaraki meets up with Gigantomachia along with his fellow Lieutenants as they begin the rampage that ends up killing civilians and heroes, most notably, the eventual death of Midnight. In the midst of all this, Dabi also reveals himself to be the long-lost son of Endeavor - Toya Todoroki and traumatizes Shoto and Endeavor.

Shigaraki also confronts Deku and attempts to steal his quirk, but is quickly saved by Gran Torino. As the chaos ensues, Miro Togata also arrives at the scene to help the heroes and Best Jeanist attempts to prevent Gigantomachia from causing further damage. Shigaraki realizes he is fighting a losing battle and uses Radio wave to blast the heroes away as he and a few of his comrades make their escape.
The Fall of The Paranormal Liberation Front?
The Heroes Took Down the Organization That Caused So Much Chaos, But Did They Actually Win?
The heroes had won the war, but at what cost? Even though they had captured several Paranormal Liberation Front members and their bases, they were still unable to stop Shigraki from escaping. The damage caused by Gigantomachia was immensewith numerous casualties and deaths of both civilians and heroes. The destruction of the cities that Gigantomachia left in his wake would take years to rebuild. The heroes were also hated by the civilians because they were unable to protect them, which led to many hero agencies closing up shop.
The heroes also manage to capture Rikiya Yotsubashi, Gigantomachia Atsuhiro Sako, and other members of the Paranormal Liberation Front, but the true victory lies with the villains as they were still able to escape. To add fuel to the fire, All for One also launched an attack on the Tartarus prison with the high-end Nomus to retrieve his body while releasing criminals into the world. The wave of chaos shattered the confidence the public had in heroes, and they felt they could no longer trust themto protect them effectively. This resulted in conflicts between the civilians and heroes, leaving the question of a safer future, questionable.
