The original announcement fromtheDivision 2team informed playersthey began to experience delays in the localization process, which caused issues for many players around the world. Therefore, the decision was made to move the update of Season 11 to a later date from February 7. Now the latest message revealed even graver news. On its Twitter page, theDivision 2team announced while they were implementing the promised updates they “encountered an error that brought down the build generation system.” So now they have no choice but to rebuild the system. The consequence of this development is that the team is unable to make server or client updates and so now the game is at a complete standstill. For now, the team promised a new update soon, saying they have already made good progress in the last 96 hours.
Under the post players once again started asking forThe Division 3, which some commenters reacted to with confusion, bringing upDestiny 2as an examplethat players just need updates and not a completely new game. However, the explanation came thatThe Division 2was only ever supposed to last until Season 4 and considering the game is on Season 11 it has overstayed its welcome. Additionally, whileDestiny 2players get meaningful updates, there haven’t been any major updates betweenThe Division 2seasons for a very long time now. Although there were also fans who were supportive of the devs trying to resolve the issue and wished them the best of luck.
While most players wish forThe Division 3, considering the recent project cancelations at Ubisoft, it’s questionable to expect a new iteration for the game series anytime soon. But in the meantime, fans can look forward to news aboutThe Division Heartland.
The Division 2is now available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
