Over time there have been various bits of gameplay other information put out for the public, and yesterday it was announced that anOutriders-specific YouTube and Twitch broadcast will be happening on June 16, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. PDT.

This broadcast will go into quite a number of things about the game including brand-new gameplay, new powers, deep dives for character classes, and development updates according to the announcement Tweet posted by the officialOutriderssocial media account. According to the video included with the Twitter post,Outridersbroadcasts will become a monthly event for interested players to look forward to after this first one premieres on the game’s YouTube channel and Square Enix’s Twitch account. Currently the game is schedule for a release at the end of this year, but it’s uncertain if the “development updates” promised might include a push due to the ongoing pandemic.

Outridersis an RPG looter-shooter in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi setting meant to be played with up to three players that can be described as something like BioWare’sMass Effectseries in aMad Max-inspired world. The game is being pretty heavily promoted as a launch title for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X despite simultaneously releasing on current-gen consoles, so it will be interesting to see what new mechanics will be introduced to help flesh out its gameplay.

One thing prospective players do know about the game going in is thatOutriderswill have about 40 hours of contentdepending on one’s commitment to taking on side quests, grinding to flesh out the RPG elements, and so on. There are also going to be four playable classes, which should help foster replayability for the third-person shooter considering players can take on different roles while playing cooperatively.

While there are a number oftitles confirmed for the PlayStation 5and Xbox Series X, People Can Fly’s experience with games likeBulletstorm: Full ClipandGears of War: JudgmentsuggestsOutriderswill be one to look forward to. Hopefully, the firstOutridersbroadcast offers plenty more to keep that excitement coming.

Outridersis planning to release holiday 2020 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
