When picking up a new game, many players' first question is how long it will take to beat. This is important for a number of reasons, as each player’s preference is different. Some want a game to be quick and enjoyable, but not require too much time to get the most out of, while others prefer games that take 100+ hours to complete. While other games might make players complete the full game five times over doing specific things in order to see all the endings,NieR Replicant’s endings are more sequential. Replaying certain parts of the game is still necessary, but not to the extent that players might be used to for games with multiple endings.

For starters,completing the main story ofNieR Replicantone timetakes around 20 hours on average. This will see players getting Ending A and serves as a complete and satisfying conclusion to the story of the game. Naturally, it may take less or more time to complete depending on how many side quests players complete, what optional activities they choose to engage with, and their general skill level. If that sounds perfect, then that is all that players have to do. For those wanting a bit of a more extensive experience, though, they can extend the game by going for all five endings.
For completionist runs that see players get Ending A all the way through Ending E, it takes on average 70-80 hours to complete. This involvesgetting all of the weapons inNieR Replicant, beating the game five times with slight changes each time to see all endings, collecting all 42 trophies, and getting 100% on the game. Just like before, players will take more or less time to do this depending on how efficient they are, but this does give a good idea of how long it will take in general.
For those that are interested inNieR Replicant, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get the game and play through the story once. After completing it, players will have a good idea of whether or not they want to continue on and see the other four endings. Those players that simply can’t get enough will probably opt to keep playing, while those that want to move on to something new could get by just looking up the other endings online.
