Summary
One Piecechapter 1097 is just around the corner and spoilers and leaks for the chapters are already started flowing in. This chapter continues the incredible flashback of Kuma that has been going on for quite a while now, as expected. This flashback has proven to be nothing short of incredible and, in this chapter, fans get to see a lot more of Kuma’s teens as well as his early adult life.
The Revolutionary Army is also brought into the foldinOne Piecechapter 1097 and that has fans incredibly excited, given that characters such as Dragon and Ivankov are now going to be on the move as well. This chapter, although short, adds a lot of depth to the story of Kuma and, at the same time, gives fans an insight into the creation of one of the biggest organizations of all time.
Kuma And Ginny Grow Up
As expected,Kuma’s flashback is going to have quitea lot of timeskips andOne Piecechapter 1097 featured one as well. In this chapter, fans finally got to see Kuma and Ginny continue their incredible work that they did towards the end of last chapter and, successfully be able to build a better life for themselves. It seems that Kuma has now become a pastor and he is doing incredibly well for himself. His goal seems to be to help everyone around him and build a peaceful life. Kuma is inspired by the legend of Nika and he will always continue to want to be more like him.
Meanwhile, Ginny has now grown old as well and she is seen around the camps of old people, often scolding them for being ungrateful. Ginny is seemingly acquiring quite a lot of suitors for herself, however, she has only eyes for Kuma, who she loves very dearly. In fact, at one point, later in the chapter, Ginny also brings up the idea of marriage to Kuma, however, he rejects the idea, saying that he doesn’t want the fate of his parents to befall Ginny as well. Of course, this is, in no way, an indication of the fact that Kuma doesn’t love her. He absolutely does, however, he does not want her to die so early in her life.
Kuma also seems to have improved the usage of his Devil Fruit in this chapter. Using his powers, he seems to be healing old people all the time and bringing pain out of their bodies. However, in what turned out to be a very surprising event, Kuma actually decides to take their pain in his own body. According to him, if he doesn’t do that, their pain will return to them and he simply cannot let that happen. This horrifies Ginny, however, it makes Kuma happy, because this way, he helps people around him using his hands of liberation.
The Evil King Of Sorbet Kingdom
One Piecechapter 1097 also touches upon the idea of the evil King of sorbet Kingdom. The Sorbet kingdom had a very evil king and, coincidentally, this evil king was believed to be Kuma for the longest time. It seems there are some sort of propagandagoing against Kumalater down the line and he ends up taking blame for the evil king Bekori. In the chapter, fans found out that this King is actually sadistic. He enjoys torturing people and he introduces new taxes to make their lives even more difficult. What’s more, he even hears about people being upset with him and this only makes him even happier, in a very creepy manner. As the story progresses, his ideas worsen and he decides to come up with a new plan, where he simply aims to split Sorbet Kingdom into two.
The northern half of the sorbet Kingdom is for the wealthy and likely the young, who can afford to pay their taxes. The southern half is supposed to be a place for the old and decrepit who cannot afford to pay their taxes. Essentially, he wanted to create a rotting ground for these people. Kuma, angered by this, attacks with Ursus Shock, however, eventually, Kuma, Ginny and their friends found their way into prison.
Dragon And The Freedom Fighters
One of the biggest parts ofOne Pieceafter 1097 concernsthe leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon. Fans knew that Dragon would be an extremely important character in Kuma’s flashback and this is something that Game Rant predicted as well.One Piecechapter 1097 gives fans a proper glimpse of Dragon and the past of the Revolutionary Army. Of course, at this time, the Revolutionary Army simply known as the Freedom Fighters. The Freedom Fighters were created by the coalition of Kuma and Ivankov. Essentially, this confirms Ivankov as Dragon’s true right hand man. They go from place to place liberate people, however, they lack the funds to create a proper organization. Kuma himself is a very keen admirer of Dragon and believes that he’s a very cool person. It is the Freedom Fighters who eventually make their way to Sorbet Kingdom and rescue Kuma and Ginny along with all their other friends.
Both Kuma and Ginny end up joining the revolutionary Army. Ginny is made commander of the East section of the Army, which is the same position that is currently being held by Belo Betty, while Kuma is among the three main creators of the army. By this point, the Freedom Fighters are now transformed into the Revolutionary Army, which means that Kuma joining this group is what gave birth to the army in the first place. Fans also find out quite a bit about the past of the character that is Monkey D. Dragon. Dragon was formerly a Marine officer, however, he gave that life up, believing that there was no justice to be found there. That is why he founded his own army and, in the end, decided to pursue his own justice.
Ginny’s Kidnapping
One Piecechapter 197 is quite short and, at the end of it,a terrible fate befalls Ginny. It is revealed that she’s somehow kidnapped and fans do not know what exactly happened to her. The Revolutionary Army HQ receives the news for kidnapping and it is believed that a familiar face is responsible for it, however, at the same time, also unexpected one. This character does not appear inOne Piecechapter 1097, however, it is likely that they will be the focus of the following chapter. This might tie very well into why Ginny has not appeared in the main story at all. While some would say that Ginny is dead and something happens to her here, that will likely not be the case. This is because Bonney has not been born yet and Kuma and Ginny’s relationship needs to progress further. Ginny might die eventually, however, the time for her to pass has not come just yet.
Thankfully, there is no break next week and fans can wait eagerly in anticipation for the next chapter ofOne Piecewhich continues the story of Kuma.
