Although he started with just four characters, he now has several other dangerous Impel Down inmates and they also include Shiryu, the former Head Jailer of Impel Down. Recently, it was revealed to the fans that Shiryuis a Devil Fruit usernow and possesses the power of the Suke Suke no Mi.
The Suke Suke No Mi
The Suke Suke no Mi is a Paramecia type of Devil Fruit that fans are actually very well aware of. This fruit is also known as the Clear Clear Fruit in the Viz Translation of One Piece.Being a Parameciameans that this fruit affects the body of the user or allows them to produce an effect. In the case of the Clear Clear Fruit, the user gains the power of invisibility. This invisibility isn’t passive. To make use of it, the user needs to activate it, which they can do at will. Once they are invisible, it becomes incredibly difficult for their opponents to track them in battle. Fans saw this fruit being used by Absalom during the Thriller Bark arc and there, he proved to bequite a match for Sanji.

It is safe to say that he is a much better user of this ability than Absalom ever was. It must also be noted that the powers of the Clear Clear Fruit can also be transferred to others. Not only can Shiryu make himself invisible but he can also transfer this ability to others around him by mere contact. Absalom was also seen being able to do this and he could also use this on an object as large as a boat. Shiryu can also do this and make his allies invisible in combat as well.
How Strong Is Shiryu?
With elite swordsmanship and the power of the Clear Clear Fruit, Shiryu is extremely dangerous to face and battle. It can be assumed that he is the third strongest memberof the Blackbeard Piratesafter Blackbeard himself and Kuzan, the former Admiral of the Navy. When combining his two powers, he can wreak havoc on anyone. He can produce invisible slashes that cannot be tracked at all. This means that his enemies will not be able to track where the attacks are coming from. Although it is possible for the Color of Observation Haki to be able to track the movements of Shiryu, it must be remembered that presence can very well be suppressed inOne Piece.When presence is suppressed, even Color of Observation has a hard time figuring out if there is anyone nearby.
That means that Shiryu, when suppressed, can even pose problems for the most skilled users of the Color of Observation. What’s more, this ability will most likely be awakened in Shiryu. If that is the case then he can most likely spread his invisibility to others without making direct contact with them. This would make him and his pirate crew even more dangerous and allow him to take others by surprise in combat. His sword, Raiu, is also likely a cursed blade, and when combined with the powers of the Suke Suke no Mi, it is going to be extremely dangerous to face.
