As the Straw Hat Pirates sail through the Grand Line, fans have gotten to see many powerful countries emerge, with some being led by the very strongest people inOne Piece.

While some of them are known to beallied with the World Government, others are so powerful that not even the World Government approaches them.
10Kano Kingdom
Located in the West Blue, Kano Kingdom is a small nation with powerful forces. Very little is known about this nation, however, they are known to have the Happo Navy, which was once led by Don Chinjao.
Currently, the Happo Navy is led by their 13th leader, Don Sai. The Kano Kingdom is certainly one of the strongest countries in the world, given their skill in arts such as Haki and the Hasshoken style of martial arts.
9Dressrosa
After the fall of Donquixote Doflamingo, Dressrosa is being ruled by the Riku Family once again. The country itself is quite poor and the military they have is far from good enough, as seen when Donquixote Doflamingo was able to take over quite easily.
Despite everything, people living in Dressrosa are quite happy and, more importantly, passionate, which is why this country is known to be the country of love, passion, and toys.
8Alabasta Kingdom
Known to be a Sandy Island, Alabasta is a kingdom located in the Paradise half of the Grand Line. This island is ruled by the Nerfertari Family who used to be one of the founding nations of the World Government and thus, technically Celestial Dragons.
However, instead of living on Mariejois, they chose to live on the surface below. Alabasta has quite a powerful force with numbers that range over a million. They also used to a Rebel Army, led by Koza, which then joined up with King Cobra’s forces.
7Zou
Known as the Phantom Island, Zou is a kingdom located on the back of a giant elephant, Zunesha, who keeps traveling across the Grand Line. This country is home to the Mink Tribe, which is known to be incredibly powerful.

Every single mink is equipped with the ability to fight right from birth, meaning even those who are just some months old can make use of high-level martial arts and Electro. Their rulers, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, are strong enough to take on some of the strongest people in the story.
6Germa Kingdom
The world’s only seafaring kingdom, the Germa Kingdom originated in the North Blue. They’re led by the Vinsmoke Family who are also known to be warmongers. With their incredible technology, the Germa Kingdom has managed to achieve cloning, using which they have drastically increased their numbers.
The Vinsmoke Family itself is led by Judge, also known as the Garuda. Hisdaughter Reiju, and eldest son Ichijiare known to be the strongest of commanders. Nonetheless, Niji and Yonji are also quite powerful. Sanji, the strongest member of the kingdom left them when he was a child.
5Amazon Lily
Situated in the Calm Belt, Amazon Lily is a nation protected by the mighty Sea Kings, which already adds to its might. The kingdom is also known as Maiden Island as it is inhabited by women alone. Every single woman born on this island is a warrior.
Here, strength is considered to be beauty, meaning the stronger you are, the more beautiful you will be considered. Every single woman on the island knowshow to use both Observation and Armament Haki, which just goes to show how strong they are. The island is ruled by the Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock, who is one of the former Shichibukai.
4Totland
Totland is a large network of 36 islands located in the New World. The island at the center of it all is Whole Cake Island, where its ruler, one of theFour Emperors of the Sea, Big Mom resides.

Totland has incredible power and forces that range well over 10,000. With several mighty members of the Big Mom Pirates and even Big Mom herself, it is quite easy to see that this country ranks among the very strongest in the world ofOne Piece.
3Wano Country
Wano Country is one of the most powerful countries in theOne Pieceworld so much so that even the World Government and the Marines are afraid to touch it. This country is home to several powerful samurai and in the past, the likes of Kozuki Oden, Ryuma, among others also lived here.
Currently, the country is run by Orochi andKaido from behind the shadows, whose forces make up for the bulk of its strength. Wano has some of the most impressive fighters inOne Pieceand what’s more, this country is also protected by a barrier, which only adds to its tremendous strength.
2Fishman Island
Located 10,000 meters under the Red Line in the center of the earth, Fishman Island is quite a spectacular place with incredible beauty. The country is ruled by none other than King Neptune, who is situated at the Ryugu Palace.
Neptune has his very own army which fights for him and his country. His sons, the three princes, are also quite powerful. Most importantly, Fishman Island has the power of the Ancient Weapon, called Poseidon, in Shirahoshi which has finally awakened and can be used to destroy the entire world.
1Elbaf
Known to be the kingdom of the giants, Elbaf is a country located somewhere in the New World. Very little is known about them, other than the fact that they’re considered to be the strongest country in the entire world, thanks to their mighty army of giants.
The country is ruled by a yet unknown ruler but fans do know that their prince is named Loki. According to Big Mom, if she was able to get her hands on the army of Elbaf, she would’ve defeated all of the Yonko, including Whitebeard.
