Winning the tournament inOobletsisn’t too much of a distant dream as it might first seem. Granted, it’s an uphill battle. Teams of one, two, and three go against the players. These ooblets are from all over the world and can be powerful creatures that the player hasn’t seen and won’t see until well into the endgame.

Don’t sweat it. Even novice players inOobletscan craft a winning strategy with nothing but the ooblets and resources they have in the very first area. In fact, the best team in the game for these battles is likely one that gamers can build and level up within the first hour of gaming.

Clomper, Clomper, Lumpstump
When it comes to a small team,Clomper and Lumpstump are the way to go in the early game, both in this tournament and outside of it. In 1v1 situations, Clomper can stun the opponent at zero cost, causing them to forfeit their turn.

Lumpstump comes through with hype for the player’s team and fluster for everyone else in addition to points. A team that can’t escape Clomper’s stuns loses right away. If they get a chance to escape, Lumpstump’s buffs and debuffs will have already put the game out of range.
If this setup looks familiar, it should. This is identical to the normal tournaments and there is a similar philosophy. Why would the most overpowered team be any worse if their moves cost zero? They shine even brighter here.

Clomper is overpowered already in normal tournaments. Making all the stuns cost zero is even stronger at this stage. Opponents don’t get a chance to move and only one Lumpstump is needed because it will have all the time in the world to get toapply buffs and debuffswhile getting to the point goal.
There is a slight change to the variation for Signatures Only tournaments because Clomper, on his own, doesn’t have moves that generate points. This results in a 1v1 dance-off that the player can’t win, regardless of how long the opponent is stunned for. Sub in Lumpstump for the first round.
After that, the formation becomes the same as the last two tournaments. Clomper locks down enemy teams while Lumpstump applies buffs and debuffs. This might not seem all that creative, sure, but by removing enemies from the equation and not giving them the chance to play, this is the best way to rack up wins regardless of the competition.
