A Redditor named No_Reflection7190 posted three pictures of a copy ofHalo 2: Limited Collector’s Editionon the r/Halo subreddit that they purchased for $7. The game was still factory-sealed in shrink-wrapped plastic and had a sticker advertising Xbox Live on the front. Compared to the standard version ofHalo 2, this edition came in a silver-colored steel book withHalo 2’s logo on the front, and there were two tamper-evident stickers on the bottom and the side of the package.

At the time of its release,Halo 2: Limited Collector’s Editionsold for $60. It came with both a copy ofHalo 2and a DVD that featured documentaries detailing the game’s development. In the comments of No_Reflection7190’s post, someHalofans pointed out that sealed copies ofHalo 2: Limited Collector’s Editiongo for as much as $230. By comparison,Halo Infinite Collector’s Editionlaunched for $169at retailers such as Walmart.
