Fans have noticed a couple redesigns that Blizzard has yet to properly unveil, withnew looks for Roadhogand Ashe briefly appearing during the Sojourn showcase. As those who have playedOverwatchin the past few years will know, Hammond is a genetically engineered hamster that pilots a ball-shaped mech. Due to both the cuteness of the hamster and the hero’s unique abilities, which allowWrecking Ballto contest points better than most characters, he has built up quite the reputation in recent years. As for his original character model, he was essentially just a large hamster with a harness, making his design in the sequel a bit more detailed.

Near the end ofthe Sojourn gameplay trailer, where the hero uses her Ultimate to activate a charged rail gun shot, Hammond is seen taking a hit from the weapon. After Bob falls, he is launched into the sky, and Reddit user Pr_Sanchez shared a shot of the adorable Tank flying into the air. Here, players can get a close look at his new attire, with the hero wearing a white suit that covers his entire body as well as some black and yellow gloves. If that was not enough, he also wears some goggles atop his head.

As for Wrecking Ball’s mech, those who watched the trailer will get to see it roll up to Ashe. While there is not a shot of this mech with its guns out, it does appear to be more high-tech based on its ball form. Hammond’s ball is now a shinier silver and gold, which is different from the off-green and orange color scheme that he had in the original game. While there are still a few more redesigns left to unveil,Overwatch 2fansnow have an idea of how over half of the cast will look once the sequel releases.

It will be interesting to see how Wrecking Ball fits intoOverwatch2’s 5v5 meta, though fans should get a chance to try him out once the beta begins. As for this new look, those commenting on Pr_Sanchez’ post seem to be divided on the changes.

Overwatch 2is currently in development for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
