The hit 90’s - 00’s game seriesPanzer Dragoonwas certainly popular, andwith newer remakes available, no one thought it would put fans out of pocket over a decade after its release. The game may be of high demand, but its players surely know it is not worth the high price it’s currently going for on the New Zealand Microsoft Store.

The classic 2002 originalPanzer DragoonOrtais priced at over two thousand dollars in New Zealand, and the Australian Microsoft Store had a similar price as well. But, with Switch’s newPanzer Dragoonremake filled with new features and a substantial update, it’s unlikely that the original will actually be bought for such a cost.

The game on the said Microsoft Store is selling for $2,699.90, a rather shocking amount considering it only costs £9.19 in the UK. This is likely to be a glitch from Microsoft’s side, and is probably linked to the changes being made in the company with the Xbox store and Backward Compatible titles before the launch of Xbox Series X.

Thankfully, Microsoft’s glitch that was spotted yesterday seems to have been fixed on the Australian store. However, the same cannot be said for the New Zealand Microsoft Store. The game is still priced the same in New Zealand dollars, which comes up to $1,783.26 in US dollars.

Panzer DragoonOrta was the fourth game in the main series and was extremely liked among players in its time and today. But gamers probably don’t like it that much to pay this amount for it. It is recommended players purchase it elsewhere for a more reasonable price than from that particular store. Or just play thePanzer Dragoonremake on Switchinstead.

After the first remake was announced and released last year for Nintendo Switch, it was then declared thatPanzer Dragoonwill begetting a virtual reality remake as well thisyear. So to the players in New Zealand, there’s plenty of better options for the time being. Save the money, and get it once this glitch has been fixed.
