Each ofPersona 5 Tactica’s Quests requires players to make use of everything they’ve learned to accomplish tasks that are often difficult and sometimes seem impossible at first glance. The dreaded “Defeat all Enemies in One Turn” is a recurring challenge players will face.
Fortunately,Persona 5 Tactica’s 15th Quest, “Lavenza’s Third Trial,” has no such time limit. Instead, it puts players in a very difficult starting position and sends multiple waves of reinforcements to test the player’s ability to adapt and strategize. This guide will offer a method of clearing Lavenza’s Third Trial.
How to Complete Lavenza’s Third Trial
Players must bring one additional Phantom Thief on this mission, aside from Haru and Erina who are locked in for the map. Toshiro is also deployed on this map and the additional Phantom Thief chosen will be with him in an enclosed area. For this strategy, players should grab Yusuke, though any character with the ability toinflict a debuff that will leave enemies vulnerableshould work just as well.
When the level begins, players should swap over to Yusuke, move into the lower left corner of the box he and Toshiro start in, and fire at the big Legionnaire to get it to jump over and attack. Yusuke will take some damage, but this will expose the Legionnaire for Toshiro. Have Toshiro knock it down to get ‘one more’ and then position the Phantom Thieves to perform a map-wide Triple-Threat and eliminate a ton of enemies at once.
Next, players should swap over to Erina and advance on the enemies near her. By standing in the position shown above, she can shoot the shield enemies from the side toknock them down and get ‘one-more’to set up another Triple-Threat and wipe them out.
Have Haru end her turn. After the enemy move, players should reposition Fox directly below the last soldier on the upper level and use Bufu to freeze it, before Toshiro shoots it for a ‘one more’ and triggers another Triple-Threat to kill it.
End the turn again to cause the first wave of reinforcements to spawn. Once they spawn,position Toshiro in the upper right of the enclosed areaand shoot the big Legionnaire to bait it into position, then move Fox to shoot it for ‘one more’ and set up a Triple-Threat.
Use this Triple-Threat to cripple this wave of reinforcements, then have Fox freeze the survivor on the upper level to set up Toshiro for a ‘one more.’ Use this All-Out-Attack to clean up almost all the enemies on the map.Move Haru over towards the last surviving enemy and use her grenade launcher to take it downwhile also destroying the barrel blocking the path forward.
When the next wave of reinforcements spawns, have Yusuke use mabufu to freeze the group near him and Toshiro. Then have Toshiro shoot the one that remains exposed on the upper level to get a ‘one more.’ Use the Triple-Threat to clear some enemies, then start moving Haru further into the map and end the turn.
This is where things get a little tricky.Have Erina place a Flag of Freedomso that it forcibly exposes the remaining group of enemies near her, then move Haru into position to fire a grenade at them for a ‘one more.’ Use the momentum to move Haru as far towards them as possible, then use Psi to hit the last one standing for another ‘one more.’
Move Haru into position to catch as many as possible in an All-Out-Attack, then it’s time for Fox to strike. Use a melee attack to expose the Legionnaire in the enclosed area, then have Toshiro knock it down. This allows for a Triple-Threat that will eliminate one more foe.
End the turn and let the enemy move, then kill the last Legionnaire using Fox and Toshiro. When the next wave of reinforcements arrive on the following turn, use Haru to bait out the big Legionnaire while also getting a ‘one-more’ from the exposed Legionnaire near it. Fire another shot at the big Legionnaire to down it and reposition Haru for a Triple-Threat.
Swap over to Fox and use Mabufu to freeze the group up on the ledge in place, then have Toshiro hit the whole group with Liberator for a one-more.Use Liberator again for more damageand to bait the big Legionnaire down into the pit.
On the next turn, players should move Haru into position to use Noble Lady’s Invitation, exposing the enemies and baiting the big Legionnaire again. Toshiro can then use Liberator to get a one-more while wiping out the small Legionnaires, leaving the big one to be taken out with a Triple-Threat.
On the next turn, the final wave of reinforcements will spawn. Have Yusuke freeze three of the Legionnaires on the ledge, then have Toshiro shoot one and Haru shoot one so they both get ‘one more.’ Position Haru for the Triple-Threat and clear an entire line.
Have Toshiro shoot another one and then move him into the bottom right corner of the pit, using Crystal of Rebirth to heal him a bit. The big Legionnaire will move, and then it’s time for the final turn of the map.
Open with Haru,using Noble Lady’s Invitation again to set the enemy up. Have Toshiro shoot the big Legionnaire to get ‘one more,’ then reposition Fox to hit all the remaining enemies with a Triple-Threat and end the map.
