Pikunikuis an incredibly fun puzzle/adventure game where the protagonist, Piku, must stop the evil Mr Sunshine and his giant robots. The main storyline is enough to keep the player entertained for hours on end as the game itself has a variety of characters and originality that at times it’s impossible to stop playing. Naturally, there is plenty for the player to do outside the main storyline too.

Thegame’s achievements and side questsare largely unlocked through exploration and can range from difficult challenges to simple and relaxing quests that can be done in minutes. Either way, all of these add so much playing value to the game outside the main story of the game. These are some of thebest side quests inPikuniku.
6Giant Bird
Whileexploring the villagein the valley, there is a way to make it all the way up to the clouds in the sky. While jumping around the many fluffy clouds players may stumble on a bird’s nest in the clouds. All logic is thrown out the window at this point, as Piku breaks the eggs open and scares the baby birds away. This causes their giant mother bird to fly over and demand the player to find her children.
The baby birds are actually quite easy to find, as they are scattered around the village and their dark coloring makes them easy to spot against the game’s bright colors. Meaning this quest can be a fun time filler outside the game’s main story. The birds' dialogue is quite funny, too.

5Тоastopia
The best part about this achievement is that players can stumble upon it completely by accident. This is because it is located in one of the houses of the forest village, in a seemingly simple setup where a villager wants his toaster fixed. However, nothing can ever be simple in theweird and wonderfulworld ofPikuniku.

Attempting to fix the villager’s toaster will spawn the Toast king, who then challenges the player to a platforming challenge in the world of Toastopiа. While the level itself can be quite difficult, however, players can respawn an unlimited number of times in various locations which makes it easier. In the end, the goal is to unplug the toaster and destroy Toastopia. This might just be the best side quest in the game.
4Baskick Tournament
Located in the village of the valley, this quest involves going up against a villager in a baskick tournament. This is no normal game of basketball, as the name suggests. Both of the characters must kick the ball, and each other, in order to win. There is certainly a challenging aspect to this, as winning can prove to be quite difficult, especially with the villager kicking so often. So it can certainly take some time to do this.
Thereare different achievements availablehere depending on whether players win or lose. Both of which are available by winning or losing three times in a row. This adds a lot of replay value to the Baskick mini-game. It’s overall a great deal of fun to play through and a great way to spend more time with the game.

3Rock Hide And Seek
This side quest might be one of the first that the players find in the game. Located in the valley, just under the cable car, behind a breakable rock. Once Piku enters the rock’s house, they subsequently break the rock’s table. Unforgivable. Unless, of course, players manage to beat the rock in a game of hide and seek.

Worry not, because despite being a rock, the character manages to find some creative and wonderful places to hide. From the ground to the sky. Upon finding its last spot the rock will agree to be Piku’s friend, however players will still have to pay for the table though, at some point. This quest is just one incredible example of thegreat characters within the game.
2The Shrine
One thing which many players may notice very early on in the game while exploring the valley is the secret shrine under the well. It initially requires three apples to unlock, two of which are attainable through the rock hide-and-seek quest and the giant bird quest. The third can be found on a tree in the valley.
Once unlocked, the shrine leads to one of themore difficult platforming challengeswithin the game. There are multiple places where the player can choose to leave, but beating it is worth it. In the end, the player is rewarded with a mask of “the beast” from the start of the game, which can be used to scare the characters around the valley. But just being able to beat the shrine is rewarding enough.

1The Golden Tooth Of The Silver Frog
This quest can be found located high above the valley, from a wizard NPC who also goes by Wizboy. Wizboy offers Piku any wish in exchange for the golden tooth of the silver frog, so, of course, the player must find it. The golden tooth of the silver frog is located in the forest, found in one of themost difficult platforming levelsin the game underground. In order to access it, though, the player needs the watering can hat.
Once complete, the player can bring the golden tooth back to Wizboy. As promised, he then grants Piku their greatest wish. Some arms. These arms, however, are more of a fashion accessory than anything else, as they sort of just hang there, grooving about, and Piku continues to use their legs for everything.
