Being a gamer is more than just about playing the games. There are many people who see it as a hobby that takes time and dedication. It’s an opportunity to start a collection and keep it going for many years. Like thePlayStationfan who recentlydiscovered a stack of PS1 games in their parent’s attic, which included classics such as the firstResident EvilandSilent Hillgames, as well as the first twoCrash Bandicoottitles. Now, another fan is showing off their huge game collection, all of which have been prominently displayed in a tidy fashion.

Posting to Reddit recently, user OrthoBro97 has been showing off more than 1,000PlayStationtitles, 1,053 to be precise. What’s perhaps the most satisfying thing about this collection is the way the user has displayed them. They are all neatly placed on shelves, each in its own category from PS1 to the PS5, and even includes Vita games. They’ve even alphabetized them because, as u/OrthoBro97 says, it functions a bit like a library whereby looking for something is easier if everything is in order. While it’s not stated how long they’ve been collecting for, they did reveal that they’ve been playing the PlayStation since 2000, so it’s entirely possible this collection has been building up for more than twenty years.

Users commenting on the images are impressed not only by the size of the collection, but the fact that it spans generations of PlayStation consoles and games. There’s even signs placed above the games, each depicting a different PS logo. When asked which console they would save if they had to, the user said they would go with thePS4 as they say it has the best games. They also admit that they have in no way played every single one in their collection.

The fact that they’ve managed to gather more than 1,000 games is an impressive feat, especially considering how neatly arranged everything is. Fans are often keen to show off their collections, or even list their dream games collection. Take theYouTuber who recently challenged people to put together a dream list of PS1 games, but the catch was that they would only have $15 to spend.

The fact that OrthoBro97 even has Vita games is impressive in itself. The handheld PlayStation system didn’t have a lengthy lifespan which means there are those who possibly forget it even existed. WhileSony did announce that the Vita store would be staying open for now, it did also say that no new games would be coming out for it. Given that, it’s entirely possible that thisPlayStationuser’s Vita collection alone could be worth something one day.
