Talented crochet artist skocrafts uploaded a TikTok video with a quick step-by-step process for the creation ofa giant Snorlax crochet plush. While playing the iconic Pokemon theme in the background, the TikTok user began to crochet large balls of yarn filled with stuffing in order to form Snorlax’s round body. Afterward, skocrafts used cream-colored yarn to create Snorlax’s face and belly, which were crocheted onto the plush’s body. Additional rolls of white and blue yarn were vital toward making Snorlax’s round arms and legs. Once the appendages were attached, skocrafts crocheted the Pokemon’s facial features with black yarn to complete the large plush.
Thousands of TikTok users were pleased with the Snorlax plush, and many fans correctly guessed which Pokemon skocrafts would turn into a plush before the video even played. Unfortunately, skocrafts is not selling any Snorlax plushes at their Etsy store, and The Pokemon Company’s official Snorlax Poke Plush is often found out of stock at the Pokemon Center’s online store.
The giant Snorlax plush is an excellent display of artisanship by skocrafts. The plush manages to faithfully depict the Pokemon. However, the amount of supplies needed to crochet such a large plush will prove to be more costly thansmall crocheted Snorlax plushes.
