One of these newcomers is Charcadet, a Fire-type Pokemon said to have been born from burning coal.To evolve Charcadet,Pokemonfans take two routes, one using Auspicious Armor to turn it into Armarouge, or Malicious Armor to evolve it into Ceruledge, two of the best Gen 9 Pokemon. Outside the games, Charcadet only has a quick appearance inPokemon: Paldean Winds, while Ceruledge had more screen time when it appeared as Amethio’s Pokemon, one of the antagonists ofPokemon: Horizons. Charcadet is a small Pokemon that draws attention for its knight-like appearance, and to show the potential that the Pokemon could achieve, a fan designed new forms for it.
Twitter user OnduRegion created four new forms for Charcadet, suggesting what it would be like if it could evolve into a new creature inPokemon Legends: Z-A. Aracniddle has huge tweezers coming out of its body, resulting in a creature that would have a big chance of becoming one of thecoolest bug Pokemon. One of Drillava’s hands is a drill, and details in the design may remind Pokemon fans of Golurk. Hydralgon’s fists live up to the Pokemon’s name and have two dragon heads, while Brawlord has imposing fists that levitate around it.

Making their artwork even more appealing, the artist shared additional information about the four Pokemon, such as abilities, Pokedex entries, and the evolution criteria for each form. Charcadet evolves into the Fire/Bug-type Aracniddle when it receives the Parasite Armor item and transforms into the Fire/Ground-type Drillava when it gets the Golem Armor. Charcadet’s evolution into the Fire/Dragon-type Hydralgon happens when the Pokemon gains the Scale Armor. Receiving a fang from theadorable baby Pokemon Riolu, Charcadet evolves into the Fire/Fighting-type Brawlord.
That isn’t the first time OnduRegion has created an impressive evolution for a Pokemon, having previouslygiven Hawlucha a wrestling-inspired design, earning praise from the community by sharing their work. In Charcadet’s fan art, the artist stands out with the intriguing lore and the bolder designs. WithPokemon Legends: Z-Ahitting the shelves next year, fans will have to wait to find out which Pokemon will get a new evolution, and whether Charcadet will be one of them.
