This year’s Pokemon GO Fest will take place in the US, UK, and Japan, with a global part uniting players from all over the world. Pokemon GOhas announced the new Glittering Garden event that begins on August 5 at 10 AM and ends on August 8 at 8 PM local time. The event will see the appearance of some Grass and Fairy-type Pokemon featured at Pokemon GO Fest 2023, with shiny Petilil available for the first time. Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, Oddish, Hoppip, Seedot, Cacnea, Ferroseed, Spritzee, Swirlix, and Dedenne will appear in the wild more often, with all Pokemon having a shiny chance. Players who hatch 2km eggs during the event can get Budew, Cherubi, Sewaddle, Petilil, Bounsweet, and Larvesta, one of thehardest critters to get inPokemon GO. On each day of the event, a Pokemon will appear more often in parks, these being Petilil (August 5), Cacnea (August 6), Oddish (August 7), and Seedot (August 8).
As usual withPokemon GOevents, during the Glittering Garden event, players can enjoy some bonuses. Less distance will be required to earn hearts with Buddy Pokemon, while catches during the event will offer more Stardust and Candy. Players will also have a higher chance of getting Candy XL when walking with their Buddy Pokemon. Completing certain Field Research tasks will reward encounters with Tangela, Roselia, Petilil, and Foongus. A freePokemon GOLimited Researchwill be available during the event, focusing on exploration and hatching eggs.
Pokemon GOhas had its share of problems during its seven years, but the game still has a very active community. To engage players even more, Niantic keeps adding new features like Routes andadding new monsters toPokemon GO. The Glittering Garden event is specifically interesting, as it will take place during Pokemon GO Fest 2023, which may give an extra reason for gamers to play the game in August.
