Pokemon Scarlet and Violetfeature new and familiar faces inside Paldea. With the release of The Teal Mask DLC, players are challenged tofill in their Kitakami Pokedexas they explore the region. Cutiefly first appeared in Generation Seven and isa Bug/Fairy-type Pokemonthat has made its return in Generation Nine.
Cutiefly and its evolution line Ribombee aren’t the most popular Pokemon, but players will still need them to complete their Kitakami Dex. They can also take advantage of their Fairy-typing and high speed in Pokemon battles if they choose to keep them in their party. Luckily, Cutiefly is relatively easy to find inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Cutiefly Location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Cutiefly can be found early on during players' adventures in Kitakami. If they look hard enough, they can even spot one walking from the bus station to the main city, since Cutiefly is common in the grassy plains outside the mountain areas and rivers.
The Wistful Fields is a great place to search for Cutiefly, and there is a small chance thatits evolved form Ribombeewill appear. Cutiefly is very hard to spot due to its size, so searching during the day is the best way to find one, although they spawn at any time. Players will want to be careful not to make Cutiefly faint by attacking it too harshly.

How to Evolve Cutiefly into Ribombee
Players can get Ribombee by catching one or evolving Cutiefly, with the latter method being slightly easier. Cutiefly evolves starting at level 25. Players can keep one on their team while battling to use EXP. Share, but using Rare Candy or Exp Candy is a less hands-on method. Ribombee will fit in on many Pokemon teams a lot more than its predecessor due to its stats.
Ribombee has an incredibly high-speed stat sitting at base level 124. This gives it an advantage when trying to set up support moves that change the field or affect opponents' stats. Ribombee also has several moves that make ita great ally in double battles, such as Helping Hand and Light Screen.

Players will want to account for its lack of defense by using Rest, Leech Life, or Draining Kiss to maintain its HP. Since it is a Fairy-type, Draining Kiss will also result in a STAB (same type attack bonus) effect.
