The post has left manyPokemon GOfans confused, as Shadow Pokemon cannot be mega-evolved. However, it is not the mega evolution for which players should save their Meteorites. Instead, what is crucial is the fact that Meteorites are used to teachRayquaza Dragon Ascent inPokemon GO, and that should be the case for the Shadow variant as well. Dragon Ascent is an incredibly powerful move, and players should definitely use it in place of Frustration, a practically useless move that all Shadow Pokemon have when caught.
