Jason Schreier claimed that he had “heard some fascinating things about thePS5,” including pitches to developers like “playing a PS5 game should be as easy as Netflix.” The user goes on to say that Sony is trying to make gaming on the PS5 easier for people who can only play in “short bursts rather than only wanting to turn on the console when they have a few hours to spare.”
This is great news for gamers of all levels. Players with only a little time will spend more of it gaming and less time with loading screens while players with hours and hours to play will spend less of it waiting around. It may truly bea “Golden Age” for game devsand players alike, with amazing tech and awesome gameplay that hasn’t been possible on current hardware.
There’s a reason why devs are claiming that thePlayStation 5 will be a “be leap forward.” It’s looking more and more like it will be beyond anything Sony fans could have imagined.
There is also a downside, however. There are a lot of people who are worried that the PlayStation 5 and new Xbox consoles' sales will be negatively impacted by the coronavirus. Some are saying that both consoles will be theright consoles at the wrong time, and they may be right. All this fantastic hardware will most likely come with an equally high pricetag, and that’s not something this economy is likely ready for. Only time will tell, but this may be a difficult time for PlayStation and other consoles as well.
