When first starting life as a pirate inSkull and Bones, you begin your plundering adventures by sailing a small ship called a Dhow, followed by a somewhat bigger vessel called a Bedar. However, as you start toraise your Infamy, you’ll likely set your sights on bigger fish to fry and want a new, customizable shipto match. Consequently, you might wonder how to unlock more ship types andwhere to find the Sloop blueprint inSkull and Bones, one of the game’s early game ships.

Fortunately,Skull and Bones' Sloop blueprint isn’t too steep a hill to climb once you know where to look. However, getting the sloop requires a few prerequisites, plus traveling to alocationcalled theSunken Goldmine. It’s a tricky route for early-game players, but is still achievable with a few tricks.

Updated March 19th, 2024 by Russ Boswell: Players that want to grow their legacy and power in Skull and Bones will need to get their hands on better ships as they progress through the story. Some enemies boast powerful ships and players will want to even the battle by bringing their own beefed-up boats. Thankfully, it’s pretty easy to get upgraded vessels in Skulls and Bones and players can actually snag a pretty solid boat early on with the Sloop. To better help playersunlock the Sloop in Skull and Bones, the following guide has been updated with a video.

Where To Find The Sloop Blueprint

Sunken Goldmine Location

To get the Sloop Blueprint, you must travel to anoutpost called the Sunken Goldminelocated in theHarufu regionon theCoast of Africamap area. Sail west of Sainte-Anne across the sea and through the winding rivers of Red Isle, as marked on the map below. The Sunken Goldmine is thelighthouse-shaped outpost markeron the map, northwest of the lumber marker.

To reach the Sunken Goldmine, cross the next area of open sea and travel past the group of islands lining the Coast of Africa, heading inland again up another winding network of rivers. This is the most dangerous part of the journey, with openlyhostile ships patrolling the riverbanks, so proceed cautiously and tail any ships you come across en route rather than attract their attention. In case combat becomes unavoidable, it’s best to come prepared with a fewShip Repair Kits, just in case.
