With the multitude of conventions and video game events currently circulating around the world, there’s never been a better time to be a cosplayer. 2020 alone has already seen a number of incredible costumes make waves on the internet due to their sheer creativity and authenticity, with aGod of WarValkyrie outfit with fully operatable wingsand an incredibly realistic Saint-14 cosplay fromDestinybeing merely two examples.
Another fantastic showcase of the crazy world of cosplaying comes from a recent Reddit post, where user ‘Shouseb1tch13’ posted a picture showcasing a full suit of Daedric Armor fromThe Elder Scrollsseries. The design itself replicates the female version of the armor depicted inSkyrim, with the sleek, black design, horned helmet, and spiked pauldrons looking almost identical to those shown in the game.

WithinSkyrim, the Daedric Armor set can only be acquired through the player heightening their smithing skill to level 90. After that, they must acquire numerous Daedra hearts, ebony ingots, and leather strips to acquire the powerful armor set. Seemingly, the creator behind the costume must have gone to a similar effort in crafting their own suit of armor, with the picture showing that practically no expense has been spared in making this utterly jaw-dropping cosplay. They are even wielding two perfect Deadric axes, which only enhance the look even more.
Other Reddit users seem to agree with that sentiment too, with many expressing their bewilderment at just how authentic thisElder Scrollsreplica is. One poster claims “you have smithing level 90 for sure,” with a second poster following up the compliment by stating “More like community uncapped 250.” A third commenter jokingly posts “Yo you must have crafted 2000 iron daggers,” alluding to the frequently used strategy of players raising their smithing level through repetitively making the game’s weakest weapon. However theReddituser made the costume, it looks utterly incredible, and clearly has captured the imagination of theElder Scrollscommunity.
Fans will no doubt be wondering when they’ll get to see a new official rendition of the franchise’siconic Daedric Armor inThe Elder Scrolls 6,yet, recent reports hint that its release could still be a good ways off. If the rumors surrounding the game are to be believed, the sequel is only just being launched into full production, with Bethesda hoping to getStarfieldinto the hands of fans long before they receive their next adventure in the popular fantasy world. WithSkyrimreleasing just under nine years ago, it’s no surprise fans are itching to get stuck back into Bethesda’s groundbreaking fantasy world.
