A fan ofThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimhas revealed a unique kill in the Bethesda game. As the player made their way through a dungeon in stealth mode, they took on a Restless Draugr. As the player launched their final arrow into the undead creature, the view slipped intoThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’s killcam mode, showing the creature flip as it died.

WhenThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimwas released in 2011, it blew gamers away with its character customization and seemingly never-ending number of quests. Unfortunately, the game was also released in a very buggy state and was never fully fixed. Despite being released several times over the years,Skyrimstill has several game-breaking bugswithin it to this day. Some of the more unusual glitches in the game, however, involve the game’s killcam.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimwas the first game in the franchise to use the killcam system. The basic idea is that it shows enemy NPCs dying in a more cinematic way though it sometimes has some unexpected results. In one instance a pair ofmammoths helped the player take down a dragon inSkyrimwhile in killcam mode. In a recent post, Reddit user Ok_Assistance_6916 posted a killcam video that showed the Draugr flip after they shot a killing arrow into the NPC while in stealth mode. The user commented that they made their archer build so strong that it literally made the enemy flip upon their death, though it is likely caused by some kind of bug.

The actual glitches inThe Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimare so numerous that they will likely never be fully cataloged. Some were game-breaking in nature while others are amusing. One glitch made it appear as if aSkyrimNPC had a horse headwhile others show a player falling endlessly off a mountain. Some of the game’s most amusing bugs, however, can be found when it goes into killcam mode.

As mentioned above, killcams will show an enemy NPC’s death in a more cinematic mode but they often take directions that the player does not expect. One player, for example, was in an epic battle with a dragon and almost had it beat. The player then shoots a final arrow meant for the dragon, but thekillcam shows theSkyrimplayer killing a bunnyinstead. Unfortunately, when it comes toSkyrimit’s hard to determine what is a gameplay glitch and what was a cinematic glitch triggered by the killcam. Until the nextElder Scrollsgame comes out, however, it is likely not the last time players will see Draugr flip in such a manner.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
