Xbox Game Pass continues to be central to Xbox’s plans in the current console generation, and frequent new additions to the service continue to be the best way to keepXbox Game Passlooking attractive. Typically, Xbox likes to make these announcements itself, marketing each game’s availability. That’s not always the case, however. A great recent example isSpace Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, a unique strategy/simulation title now confirmed to be launching on Xbox Game Pass day one.

Developer Strange Scaffold made the announcement this past Thursday via a new trailer forSpace Warlord Organ Trading Simulator.Strange Scaffoldconfirmed thatSpace Warlord Organ Trading Simulatorwill arrive on Xbox Game Pass the day it launches this winter, available on both PC and Xbox consoles.Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulatorwas originally announced in January of this year, and while it isn’t a major game release, it does have its niche of followers.

The situation is odd in that Xbox itself has neither announced nor marketed the addition ofSpace Warlord Organ Trading Simulatorfor Xbox Game Pass. Traditionally, Xbox will feature any newGame Pass announcementsin a blog or video regarding upcoming titles. At the very least, it’ll share trailers on the Xbox Youtube channel. However,Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator’s Game Pass announcement was shared solely through Strange Scaffold’s YouTube channel and social media pages.

It’s possible thatSpace Warlord Organ Trading Simulatoris too small or too odd of a game for Microsoft to feature prominently, though given the diversity of titles on Xbox Game Pass, that seems unlikely. It’s perhaps more likely that it’s too early to advertiseSpace Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, given itswinter 2021 release window. If that’s the case, however, it seems odd Strange Scaffold would announce it now rather than waiting. Regardless, it’s an exciting reveal.

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is a unique offering, to say the least. The name truly captures what thestrategy/simulation gameoffers, as players will be purchasing and selling organs on a galactic organ market. Its user interface is an organ exchange, including charts for organ values and profiles for other traders and clients. There’s also, of course, a video feed of still-beating alien organs to view.

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulatorreleases winter 2021 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
