Now, one of the millions of gamers playingStarfielddecided to try a bold move: to create a spaceship inspired by the Empire State Building. VinylScratch01 crafted an amazing starship that looks huge and has a striking similarity to the real-life building, obtaining over 2,700 upvotes from theStarfieldsubreddit. Despite not being as big as the original Empire State Building, which has 102 floors, VinylScratch01’s ship is still a juggernaut with over 30 floors and rocket propellers, as well as gigantic headlights that turn on when it flies.

In the comments of the post, some gamers asked for actual footage of the ship flying, but VinylScratch01 declined, saying that they had already “tempted fate” enough by launching such a huge spaceship once. VinylScratch01, who assembled this ship playing on PC, affirmed that the game was running at 22 FPS when they were building the ship, despite having 32GB RAM and a powerful GPU. This shows how taxing it was to create such a monumental spaceship without the game crashing, something that is happening quite often for some players, according to other Reddit users. Fortunately, Bethesda is still working to improveStarfield’s overall performance. Therecent 1.7.29Starfieldupdate, for instance, addressed several stability issues across platforms to help avoid constant crashes.

VinylScratch01’s masterpiece is far from the only example of creative work onStarfield’s shipbuilding, though. Another player recently created aStarfieldship inspired by Groudon fromPokemon. This fan’s creation looked a lot like a mecha version of Groudon with huge claws and was one of the most unique shipsStarfieldplayers have created so far. Now, fans of the franchise can either create their own unique twists onStarfieldships or keep watching out for these amazing creations.

Starfieldis available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
