TheBeyond the Dawnexpansion forTales of Arisebrings with it a bunch of new and returning weapons. However, those hoping to get the best weapons inBeyond the Dawnwill need to wait quite a while, as they don’t become available until players are nearing the end ofthe DLC expansion' main story.
What’s more, players will need to find a weaker form of each weapon before they can even think about crafting them. After that, they’ll have to get their hands on a special crafting component that can only be obtained in the game’s final dungeon. Only then can players craftBeyond the Dawn’s best weapons andunlock the Arms Master achievement.

How to Get the Best Weapons in Beyond the Dawn
The first step toward crafting the best weapons inBeyond the Dawnis to acquire the Novus Aetas (Alphen), the Initium Lucis (Shionne), the Black Book of Disaster and Dawn (Rinwell), the Divine Hand Armor (Law), the Supreme Shield Aegis (Kisara), and the Ending Rod Bucks (Dohalim). All six of these weapons can be found in the Mausoleum of the Jungle in areas that are guarded by powerful Gigant Zeugles.
Tales of Ariseplayers will find Kisara and Dohalim’s weapons in the Convection Control Layer area in a room guarded by a level 83 Megawrecker. To unlock the room, players will simply need to operate the control panel in the room next door. After beating the Gigant Zeugle and claiming their Astral Flower, they’ll find theSupreme Shield Aegisin the red chest on the left and theEnding Rod Bucksin the chest on the right.

A little later on, players will find themselves in the Lower Central Stabilization Layer area, where they’ll find the room containing the next few weapons. However, they won’t be able to open it just yet and so should continue on into the Limestone Cavern: Innermost Area. If they take the central exit on the west side of the area, they’ll find themselves in the Upper Central Stabilization Layer. Here, they’ll find the terminal needed to unlock the room, after which they can drop down and defeat the level 83 Ghoulish Arms. Upon doing so, they’ll be free to claim theBlack Book of Disaster and Dawnfrom the chest on the left and theDivine Hand Armorfrom the one on the right.
The last two weapons are in the Control Compartment area. To bring down the forcefield, players should pass through Nazamil’s bedroom and then head straight when they come to the crossroads. They should then find the terminal in a small room on their left, after which, they can return to the now unlocked room and take on the level 83 Nimus JuggernautGigant Zeuglethat awaits them there. Upon defeating it, players will find theNovus Aetasin the chest on the left and theInitum Lucisin the one on the right.

Upon completing the second Mausoleum, the crafting recipes for each character’s best weapon will be added to the blacksmith menu. Unfortunately, however, players will still be missing a key crafting ingredient at this point: Ryugola Core Fragments. These can only be obtained by defeating unmissable bosses found in the game’s final dungeon, meaning that players will need to visit the Keystone before crafting the best weapons inTales of Arise. They’ll be able toget two Ryugola Core Fragments for each of the three Nazamil Nether encountersfor a total of six fragments.
Once they have all six base weapons and six Ryugola Core Fragments in their possession, players will be able to craft each character’s best weapon by visiting any of the game’s blacksmiths. They’ll also need about 150,000 Gald, though, by this point in the game, they should have more than enough saved up. If not, they can always sell some of their other gear or components or head out anddo a spot of grinding. After they’ve crafted the last of the six weapons, players will unlock the Arms Master trophy / Achievement.
How to Get the Devil’s Arms in Beyond the Dawn
Strictly speaking, the craftable weapons detailed above are not actually the best weapons inBeyond the Dawn. Just like in the base version of the game, that honor goes tothe six Devil’s Arms found inTales of Arise. However, the strength of a character’s Devil’s Arm is determined by the number of enemies that they’ve killed so far. As such, for most players, there’s a good chance that only Alphen will have racked up a high enough body count to make equipping a Devil’s Arm worthwhile.
In order to get each party member’s Devil’s Arm, players will simply need to remove all six seals on their way to the final showdown with Nazamil. There’s a seal in each palace and the huge pillars of light make them very difficult to miss. Upon removing them all, players will be able to return to the entrance of the Keystone and open up the now-unlocked door, through which they’ll find seven red chests. The one in the center contains five Astral Flowers, while the other six contain the Devil’s Arm foreach playable character inTales of Arise.
