Supermassive Games releasedThe Quarryto be another interactive horror experience similar toUntil Dawn. Just like previous chapters,The Quarryhides tarot cards, clues, and evidence all across the level for players to find.
Chapter 8 continues on with Laura and Ryan investigating the titular quarry, where a lot more collectibles can be found. Players cannot reload saves or restart chapters if they miss something due to persistent autosaving, so it is recommended tomake manual backup saves ofThe Quarryfor players trying to collect all items.

Investigating the Miner’s Staircase as Laura
Chapter 8’s length can vary depending onhow many ofThe Quarry’s counselors are alive, but it always leads to Laura and Ryan falling into an underground reservoir. The collectibles can only be grabbed during Laura and Ryan’s playable sections, but players should be aware that more story paths will appear throughout. In totalthere are four Tarot cards, three clues, and one evidence opportunity.
Two clues are obtainable on the first floor when Laura is playable. Nearby the stairs are some miner’s tools, observable asClue #11once inspected. Continue heading around the rocky path to the left and Laura will eventually be able to inspectClue #12at the end of the cave: a miner’s lunchbox.
The next collectibles will be accessible up the stairs, soguide Laura back to the quarry’s stairsand begin climbing. A few short cutscenes will play as the unsafe staircase begins to crumble, but Laura and Ryan will be okay.
Exploring the Caves as Laura
The next cave section will have an alcove extending out to the left surrounded by guard rails. Keep to the left and guide Laura into this alcove, whereTarot Card #15will reveal itself. If players head to the next path up the stairs, a point of no return will be triggered, so be careful when looking for the Tarot Card.
Head up the stairs to a square walkway.Evidence #8can be found on the other side of the stone pillar; consider walk counter-clockwise around the pillar to avoid missing it. When the prompt appears, press the command button, andLaura will find the Scarred Flesh evidence.

Continue along the linear path and watch a few cutscenes until Laura and Ryan reach a red tunnel. While walking through it, the camera angle will automatically switch and revealTarot Card #16. It is very tough to miss this card, but walking to the door in the next room will finish this playable section so ensure it is actually collected.
Lots of cutscenes play after this section, featuring Dylan and Kaitlyn (and optionally Abigail if she is still alive.) Several choice combinationsmay result in the camp counselors dying, but gameplay will return to Ryan no matter the outcome.
Exploring the Hackett Basement as Ryan
At this point, Ryan and Laura will see a doorway with a red light at the end of the corridor. Approaching it will trigger a cutscene and missed collectibles, so only go near it once the two tarot cards and remaining clue have been inspected.
From the point where Ryan starts off, head left into the adjoining room. Walking to the center of the room will revealTarot Card #14once the camera angle changes. TheHackett History Clue #13can also be obtained in this room by inspecting the distillery machines nearby.

Once both clues are collected, head back to the corridor entrance where Ryan started. Walking through this corridor will revealTarot Card #17, which is easy enough to locate. After this, there are no more collectibles to get in this chapter.
Even though all collectibles will have been obtained, Chapter 8 is not over. The fate of Jacob and Nick will be altered depending on Ryan’s actions, includingThe Quarry’s breaker switch puzzle, which can end the chapter on a deadly note.
