Its dollhouse-like gameplay makes it a particularly popular game among content creators, as well as casual players looking for a carefree way to express their creativity.The Sims 4received 12 expansion packsover the course of the last eight years, though the 2018SeasonsDLC is still widely considered to be its best expansion to date.

Reddit user RickGrimesSnotBubble has now managed to recreate the entire house fromThe Sims 4: Seasonsreveal trailer using the Sandbox mode editor. The creator said they saw the task as “an elaborate shell challenge,” referencing the popular community practice of monthly template decoration. According to the author, they opted to recreate the summer version of the house featured in the video because it required the least amount of decoration.
While the trailer didn’t reveal much of the location’s interior, the custom lot it inspired comes fully furnished. The interior is modern, which the creator described as a fun challenge since they usually prefer to design mid-century and retro houses. Among other facilities, it features three bathrooms and four bedrooms across three floors. The summer house can be freely explored usingThe Sims 4Gallery feature, where it’s available under the Gallery ID of “catlovingsimmer.”
This is just the latest in a long list of locations thatThe Sims 4players have recreated over the years. FromPaddy’s Pub fromIt’s Always Sunny in Philadelphiato the magical, shape-shifting house featured in Disney’s 2021 hitEncanto,The Sims 4community continues to flaunt its creativity on a regular basis.
SinceThe Sims 4went free-to-playjust last month, its regular influx of new community-made content might actually increase in the near future as even more players flock to this globally popular life simulation. In the meantime, Maxis is still hard at work developing a sequel, which was formally announced a couple of weeks ago under the codenameProject Rene. But by all indications, it will be at least another few years beforeThe Sims 5hits the market.
