For example, last-gen consoles are not able to pause gameplay during cutscenes and have not received a photo mode, unlike on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
The tweet concludes with an additional message that reads “keep your eyes peeled for a new patch - coming very soon!” When asked for a more exact time frame, Global Community Director for CD Projekt Red, Marcin Momot, responded “definitely not this week,” but followed up “hopefully [next week] but still pending confirmation.” There is no news at the time of writing regarding the specifics of this patch, but players should not hope for much more than bug, quest, and performance fixes. It will be thefirst patch forThe Witcher 3since hotfixesdedicated to improving PC stability were released last month.
CD Projekt Red is still at work on bringing some of the added content to the Nintendo Switch, which was confirmed to still be releasing at a later yet unannounced date. BeyondThe Witcher 3, fans have plenty to look forward to since theannouncement of an entire newWitchersaga, and a remake of the existing trilogy’s first installment. Although an expansion and sequel toCyberpunk 2077are likely to release before any of those projects, it is good to knowWitcherfans are set to be well served in the future.
