Hailing from the Sumeru region, Tighnari was the first pullable five-star Dendro character, making him quite the appealing team member. Additionally, he’s now available on the Standard Banner, meaning many players might pull him, even without meaning to. Anyone looking to use him in battle will definitely want to seek out his ascension materials to upgrade his potential, as well as the items needed to level up his talents. All of this, and more, can be found in this guide.

Gemstones - Where to Find Nagadus Emerald

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Fungi Drops

The only item used in Tighnari’s ascension that was released before Sumeru are the common enemy drops. The Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, and Crystalline Cyst Dust he needs can all be harvested from Floating Fungi in the Chasm in Liyue.

Of course, these enemies can also be found almost everywhere in Sumeru, where farming these drops may be a bit more convenient and efficient.

The higher the level of the Fungus, the better the materials it can drop:

If these Fungi are exposed to Electro or Pyro, they’ll drop different materials. Be sure not to expose them to these elements if you’re seeking out the drops Tighnari needs — they’re elementally-exposed drops cannot be used in his ascension, unfortunately.

Boss Drop - How to Get Majestic Hooked Beak

This boss drop is used by both Tighnari andCollei, the first two Dendro characters introduced to the game. To earn it, players must defeat the Jadeplume Terrorshroom boss, found in Sumeru. It can be found inside a cave to the west of Varanara.

This boss has a very strong resistance to Dendro damage, so it might be wise to leave Tighnari on the bench for this fight!

Local Specialty - Where to Find Nilotpala Lotus

Sumeru is home to many interesting plants, including the Nilotpala Lotus. This is the local specialty Tighnari uses in his ascension.

These bright yellow flowers can be found near bodies of water around Sumeru. Specifically, they’re dotted around the edges of riverbanks north and south of Sumeru City, near the Palace of Alcazarzaray, in the river valley south of Vimara Village, and north of the giant Ruin Guard on the Devantaka Mountain.
