It states that some Ring bonuses were underwhelming compared to the difficulty of triggering the effect. Additionally, Gearbox Software wants to encourage users to try other Rings, as the Mood Ring or the Championship Ring appear to be the default choice. Considering these points, the developer has buffed Rings inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandswhile nerfing Mood Ring, Finger Ward, and Championship Ring.

The update reduces the stat bonus obtained from attacking aboss inTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsfrom 100% to 50% when equipping the Championship Ring. Finger Ward’s bonuses, triggered when the player’s ward is full, are reduced from 100% to 66%. Mood Ring’s bonuses, which come into play when the ward is not full, see a dramatic reduction from 100% to just 33%. Gearbox has buffed the following Rings to compensate for these changes: Thumb Cuffs, Silicone Ring, Promise Ring, Insight Ring, and Lethal Catch.

The previous update forTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsadded a new event that allows players to purchase SDUs and Vending Machines items at half price. The post reconfirms that the event, known as Supreme Savings, will remain active till May 19 at 9:00 AM PT. Players should also note thatChaos Chamber’s Featured Run, which rotates on a weekly basis, has been updated to feature Knightmare and Sand Naga Shara, Dust-Begotten.

Update 1.0.2.0d is smaller than last week’s patch, but it makes meaningful changes toTiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The nerfs and buffs to various Rings will probably be the big talking point until the next major update. Newcomers should note that they canequip two Rings inTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and the second slot unlocks after beating the main story.

Change Notes:

Ring Balance Changes:

We found that severalRingbonuses didn’t match up with how challenging the condition was to trigger. In addition, we’d like more rings found with great stat rolls to be more interesting to pick up, and not to have rings that are trivially easy to trigger like Mood Ring or Championship Ring be the singular, outstanding choice. We are investigating a bug impacting Shell Casing and are looking to address this in a future update as it cannot be hotfixed.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
