Twitchhas officially unbanned the UK-based streamer F1NN5TER, who received his first ban on Tuesday. Known for his crossdressing and e-girl-inspired persona,Twitchbanned him for violating community guidelines. However, he is now free to resume streaming on the platform.

It was one of these crossdressing streams thatlanded Finnster in hot water with the Twitch moderation team, who issued a three-day ban for violating community guidelines. Fortunately for Finnster and his fans, the three days have elapsed, and he is free to resume streaming. Neither Twitch nor Finnster has commented on his return to the platform.

Finnster initially believed Twitch banned him for accidentally showing his underwear on stream. However, he later learned that it was due to “prolonged touching of female presenting breasts.” Fiinnster claimed this community guideline violation occurred when he was adjusting his bra partway through the stream. Finnster criticized the ban, noting the double standard and complaining about the arbitrary line between what Twitch considers a male or female-presenting chest. The streamer also tweeted a sarcastic tweet where he announced that he was the first to receive a Twitch ban for “booby streaming.”

Finnster was not the only one to take issue with his controversial ban, with many of his fans criticizing Twitch’s decision. While Finnster’s outfits are often sexualized, they show much less skin than some female streamers get away with. Therefore, many fans wondered why he received a ban, even if it was relatively short, while some womengo live on Twitch in nothing but a bikini. Granted, those criticisms were based on the mistaken belief Finnster was banned for accidentally lifting his skirt on camera. However, a three-day ban for adjusting his bra still seems fairly harsh.

Not everyone opposed Finnster’s ban, with some arguing that Twitch’s policy is necessary if the platform wants to maintain a civil community. However, this is far from the first time Twitch received criticism for its frequently inconsistent enforcement policy. For example,Twitch recently banned Mizkif for watching a reality show on stream, despite other streamers doing the same without incident. The platform is also infamous for its lack of transparency regarding bans. Still, many of Finnster’s fans will no doubt be happy that the streamer is free from Twitch Purgatory.
