Anger Footis being published by Devolver Digital and developed by Free Lives, the company behind the fast-paced action gameBroforceand thegory VR titleGORN. It is clear to seeGORN’sinfluence in theAnger Foottrailer, as the player is given a first-person perspective, similar to the viewpoint given in VR. The combat looks much more advanced thanGORN’sgladiatorial style, however, becauseAnger Footallows for some gory gunplay mixed in with its super-kicking abilities.
Gamers on social media have been comparingAnger Footto other Devolver games like the aforementionedHotline MiamiandMy Friend Pedro, stating thatAnger Footemulates the style of those games while giving players a much more personal, first-person look on the action compared to the top-down and side-scrolling perspectives of the other titles.
