The latest video from YouTube channel TeaserPlay imagines what the gameplay might look like in Insomniac’s upcomingWolverinevideo game. Last year, Insomniac surprised the world by not only revealingSpider-Man 2, but also announcing aWolverinegame project in the same showcase. Details on Insomniac’sWolverinegame remain scarce at the time of this writing, with no gameplay of the project shown to date.
All that’s been shown of Insomniac’sWolverinegame so far is abrief teaser trailer that showed Wolverine, aka Logan, sitting at a bar. Wolverine then extends his adamantium claws, and the teaser comes to an abrupt end. Despite the briefness of the trailer, fans have torn it apart in search of clues and Easter eggs, finding a reference to The Incredible Hulk in the process.

Insomniac hasn’t released anything about itsWolverinevideo gamesince the initial announcement, and so TeaserPlay has stepped up to help fill in the void. TeaserPlay, for those who may be unfamiliar with the channel, creates concept videos for real and hypothetical video games, showcasing what the projects could potentially look like if they were made using Unreal Engine 5. The latest video is all aboutWolverine, using the bar seen in the official trailer as a backdrop.
In TeaserPlay’s video, fans can see a concept for theWolverinegame’s title screen, which transitions seamlessly into the scene at the bar. Instead of the scene ending, though, it showsLoganstand up and leave. The camera then switches to a behind-the-shoulder perspective that many third-person games of this kind use. Some interesting symbols pop up on the HUD, though it’s unclear what information they are supposed to convey to the player.
The video ends as Logan approaches an individual standing in the middle of town. It’s unclear who this person is, but it’s implied that there’s going to be some kind of conflict between the characters. Unfortunately, the video ends before showingWolverine’s clawsor revealing what exactly happens when he walks up to the mysterious figure in town.
Wolverinefans may have to make due with this Unreal Engine 5 concept video for quite some time, as it’s unclear when exactly new information on Insomniac’sWolverinegame is going to surface. Right now, the studio is busy working onSpider-Man 2, which is set to launch at some point next year. The highly-anticipated sequel will introduce iconic villain Venom to the mix, and as it turns out, TeaserPlay has aconcept video forSpider-Man 2featuring Venomas well.
