Vampire Survivorshas two new characters. One, Gains Boros, is a secret character that’s not overly difficult to unlock, as long as the player knows where to look. Conversely, unlocking the other new character, Gyorunton, is a lot more difficult than finding some flowers and standing still for ten seconds.

Gyorunton is a three-headed dragon and starts with a newVampire Survivorsweapon: the Bracelet. This character has a passive bonus that actually makes the game more challenging as the player progresses through a stage. However, Gyorunton gets a few other bonuses to help offset this “bonus.”

3How to Unlock Gyorunton in Vampire Survivors

Unlocking Gyorunton is not easy. In fact, thismight be the hardest character to unlockafter Red Death. There is a new stage inVampire Survivorscalled the Boss Rash. This stage puts the player in a small, confined, space and makes them fight every boss in the game. Fortunately, the appearance of these boss creatures is staggered, or the player would have little to no chance of surviving.

This may sound difficult, but to unlock Gyorunton the player must survive the Bass Rash using only one weapon. This task is made easier if the player has obtained the Mindbender relic, which can be used to limit the weapon slots for a character. Otherwise, though, it’s advisable to have plenty of Reroll, Skip, and Banish options available.

Using Ambrojoe in the Boss Rash in Vampire Survivors

If the player cansurvive for 15 minutes in Boss Rash with only one weaponGyorunton can be purchased from the character select screen for 5,000 gold. For the Boss Rash, players should pick a character with a powerful starting weapon, but also a character that can move quickly as it’s easy to get cornered in the small confines of the Boss Rash. Ambrojoe, Concetta, Krochi, and Cavallo are amongthe bestVampire Survivorscharacters for survivingthe Boss Rash with only one weapon.

2Gyorunton’s Stats

Gyorunton gets a+1% Curse every level, with no limit. Curse increases the enemies' speed and health, as well as the number of enemies onscreen and the frequency with which they appear. At high levels, this bonus becomes very noticeable. However, Gyorunton gets a few extra passive bonuses to help offset this Curse.

These extra bonuses include a +30% to Might (damage), +200 to Health (which is a lot), and two additional Revives. All treasure chests can evolve Gyorunton’s weapons too, which allows the player to evolve weapons very early on in a run.

1Using Gyorunton

The starting weapon for Gyorunton is the newly introduced Bracelet. This weapon sends out three projectiles in a spread pattern. The projectiles don’t travel very far while the Bracelet is low-level, but, at higher levels, they travel to the edge of the screen and create a barrier that damages the enemy as they pass through.

TheBracelet does not require any additional weapon or passive item to be evolvedand can be evolved twice - into the Bi-Bracelet and then Tri-Bracelet. The player shouldget the Spinach passive itemto boost Gyorunton’s Might to 80%. The Laurel is another weapon that’s a smart pick for Gyorunton due to the enemies progressively getting stronger as a result of the ever-growing Curse.
