Each new season ofApex Legendscomes with abrand new Legend, this one being Loba, fresh content, changes to the META, and more. This time around Respawn Entertainment changed something slightly with the challenges by adding something called CP. Understanding what is means will help players vault through the Battle Pass as quickly as possible to gain more awesome gear.

There isno new weapon in Season 5 ofApex Legends, which is disappointing news. But other than that, the content in the new season is solid. It can be a bit of a grind to get all the way to level 100 of the Battle Pass, or the bonus level 110, but taking advantage CP can help.
What is CP in Apex Legends
CP translates simply to challenge points. Daily and weekly challenges can be accomplished in the game to progress through the Battle Pass.
Every day there are four daily challenges that can be completed. These challenges range from something like getting 8 knockdowns, playing 2 games, or playing matches with specific Legends, like therecently nerfed Pathfinder. Completing these challenges give players CP, usually 1,000 to 3,000 per challenge. And getting a total of 45,000 CP+XP (XP being acquired by simply playing matches and performing) will give the player +1 BattlePass level.
The weekly challenges inApex Legendsare similar, except they take a bit longer to complete. Some of the challenges reward players with a Battle Pass skip entirely, but others reward players with more CP. The challenges are designed to be completed over multiple gaming sessions, but players have the entire season to complete the challenges once they are unlocked each week.
Another way to get CP is thenew quests inApex Legends. Every day players will be able to pick up treasure packs that are hiding throughout the map. These chests may have crafting metals, Apex Packs, and also CP. There are a total of 45 daily treasure packs that can be found.
While the new quests open the door tonew lore elements forApex Legendsand allow players to enjoy the new PVE mode, it also gives players more opportunities for precious CP. So jumping into a match as often as possible to snag the daily treasure packs makes sense. Additionally, those daily challenges go a long way to progress through the BattlePass and grab more CP, as do the weekly challenges.
