World of Warcraft Classicrecently added some new rewards to the Waylaid Supply factions in Season of Discovery. By gaining reputation with these factions,World of Warcraftplayers can pick up a 16-slot bag, as well as powerful accessories that can be passed along to their alts.
Season of Discovery isWorld of Warcraft’s newest experimental server that adds new content to theClassicexperience. One of these new features is the Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics factions – groups associated with the Alliance and Horde respectively that letWorld of Warcraftplayers finish and turn in Waylaid Suppliesfor gold and reputation.
However, according toWoW Classicfan and Redditor Desperateorphan, Blizzard added some excellentnew reputation rewards for theseWorld of Warcraftfactionsat the Honored and Revered ranks in an undocumented update. Once players reach Honored, they can purchase three different Uncommon Rings for under three gold each, and once they are Revered, they can get three Rare Neck items for under six gold each. These accessories are far from best-in-slot, but they are account-bound and have no level requirement, meaning alt characters can use them well before they can usually find rings or necklaces. A new 16-slot bag can also be purchased for just under four gold at Revered, but the unique bag can only be used by that character.

Previously, each class had a Phase 1 Rune that was locked behind the Honored reputation rank of this faction.World of Warcraftreduced this reputation requirementto Friendly, promising to add new incentives to raise one’s reputation beyond that point. Now, it seems likeWoW Classichas done so with these new alt-friendly accessories.
That isn’t the only improvementWorld of Warcraftmade in this silent update. Fans are also reporting the rewards for high-level Waylaid Supplies have been drastically increased, with the level 40 crates rewarding 12 gold each. It is unclear if this increase affects lower-level Waylaid Supplies, butWorld of Warcraft Classicplayers who need to make goldin Season of Discovery can easily do so after this buff.
Players can now hold up to 12 unfilled Waylaid Supplies crates in their inventory at one time. While they can’t turn in incomplete orders for a smaller reward anymore,World of Warcraftincreased the experience gainfrom these turn-ins in Phase 2. With these additional buffs to rewards and offers,WoW Classicfans should definitely be on the lookout for Waylaid Supplies as they explore Season of Discovery.
