World of Warcraft’snext expansion, The War Within, is still a few months away at least. Fortunately, there is no shortage of content to keep players busy till then. BetweenSeason Four ofDragonflight,Plunderstorm, and now Mists of Pandaria Remix, players will not get bored anytime soon.
Shortly aftercreating a character forMists of Pandaria Remixyou will get an artifact quality cloak called the Cloak of Infinite Potential. This unique item provides a buff that can be upgraded infinitely, but to do this you will need to gather Threads, and here is how you may acquire them.

How to Get Threads
Threads can be acquired in two different ways. First, they occasionally drop as loot from any enemy regardless of whether it is a quest mob or dungeon/raid boss. In addition, you are guaranteed to get a Thread from Cache of Infinite Treasure which is obtained from completing quests. Threads can also occasionally be obtained when flying through the glowing spheres that are often found at the top of buildings.
Finally, you can also obtain Threads by completing scenarios, dungeons, and raids. Just like in Mists of Pandaria, there were groups farming frogs on Timeless Isle for Threadsand Bronze. Blizzard fixed this recently, so this farming method is no longer viable.

What Do Threads Do
Once you obtain a Thread, it will automatically apply itselfto your Cloak of Infinite Potential. The stats granted by the Timerunner’s Advantage buff will increase based on the Thread. For example, if you get a Thread of Stamina, you will permanently gain more Stamina. If you get a Thread of Experience, it increases how much EXP you get when killing mobs or completing quests.
As you acquire more Threads, you will unlock the Infinite Power series of achievements for this event. Unlocking all the achievements related to the Cloak of Infinite Potential will get you the August Celestial Wings toy.

How Many Threads Are There?
There are nine different threads that you can acquire, and they are as follows.
Thread of Leech
Increases your Leech
While you are under level 30, Threads will increase each stat by one or by one percent in the case of EXP. The exception to this is Thread of Stamina which increases your Stamina by two. At level 30, you will begin to acquire uncommon quality Threads that will increase your stats by three (six for Stamina). At level 50, Threads will drop at rare quality and increase your stats by seven (14 for Stamina). Then once you are 65 or higher, all Threads drop at epic quality and will provide the highest boost to your stats.
