Now, the third and final patch ofDragonflightis nearly upon players, andWorld of Warcrafthas revealed the full patch notes ahead of its May 7 release date. Dark Heart will be the last batch of story content beforeThe War Within’s Pre-Patch event and the subsequent launch of the expansion itself, so this new chapter took center stage in the update.World of Warcrafteven revealed a new in-game cinematic featuring Khadgar speaking to Jaina Proudmoore and then Alleria Windrunner, setting up the hunt for the Harbinger that will lead to thedramatic opening chapter ofWorld of Warcraft: The War Within.
Were that story not exciting enough, players will find several other quests in Patch 10.2.7 as well. Trolls and Draenei are getting Heritage Armor questlines and sets, along with a new story involving Emberthal’s search for a visage, and a solemn epilogue where playerschoose where a controversialWorld of Warcraftcharacter is buried. Additionally, all story quests that were locked behind Renown levels are now immediately available at max level.
ThenewWorld of Warcraftpatchalso includes six new hair colors for Kul Tiran characters, plus a slew of other quality-of-life updates. The Hunter pet stable has been completely rebuilt with a beautiful new interface, and several changes to the UI for things including the Premade Group Finder, Auction House, and Trading Post will make players’ lives much easier.
Just over a week after Patch 10.2.7,World of Warcraftis beginningWoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. This PvE event lets players speed through the 12-year-old expansion with modern convenience, collecting transmogs and other rewards for their accounts as they go. Fans can keep the characters they make for the event, andWorld of Warcraftis giving them five extra character slotsto accommodate the event, so everyone should have room to experience the throwback event.

PROLOGUE TO THE WAR WITHIN
The Dark Heart content update ushers in the final chapter of theDragonflightexpansion setting the stage for the story in the upcoming expansion,The War Within.
Khadgar has summoned you to Dalaran to help him investigate a mysterious figure called the Harbinger who possesses a powerful relic called the Dark Heart. The Archmage has also asked Alleria Windrunner to join you in order to give her unique perspective.
DRAENEI AND TROLL HERITAGE ARMOR

Players level 50 and above can seek out the Magically-Sealed Parcel in Stormwind to begin the quest “An Artificer’s Appeal.” This will allow them to complete the heritage questline and receive the Embrace of Lost Embaari and Endurance of Temple Telhamat ensembles, each of which includes shoulders, back, chest, wrist, hands, waist, legs, feet, and two helmets.
Troll
Players level 50 and above can seek out Zi’guma in Orgrimmar who will offer the quest, “Return to the Echo Isles.” This will allow them to complete the heritage questline and receive the Covenant of the Darkspear and Loyalty of the Darkspear ensembles, each of which includes shoulders, back, chest, wrist, hands, waist, legs, feet, and a mask. Additionally, Darkspear troll players will receive two additional head-slot cosmetic items tied to the storyline.
WOW REMIX: MISTS OF PANDARIA EVENT
Get into the mix of things when theWorld of Warcraft Remix: Mists of Pandariaevent goes live on May 16! This time-limited event allows players to re-experience the entirety of the Mists of Pandaria expansion at an accelerated rate from level 10-70. All loot has been completely overhauled and has powerful new effects allowing players to shape their experience, power up, and power on.
