As an Electro unit inWuthering Waves, Calcharo must run5pc of Void Thunder, which will grant him up to 40% Electro DMG. His main Echo can beThundering Mephiswith Crit DMG or Crit Rate Main Stat. It’s a strong Echo that can deal multiple Electro DMG to enemies while instantly teleporting to them.
If it’s hard to collect five Void Thunder, players can opt for5pc Lingering Tunessince it grants a decent amount of ATK for Calcharo. He scales with ATK so it’s going to still buff his DMG. You can also match2pc of Void Thunder and 2pc of Lingering Tunesto give Calcharo 10% Electro DMG and 10% ATK.
Best Calcharo Weapons In Wuthering Waves
The best weapon for Calcharo isVerdant SummitinWuthering Waves. It’s a weapon that raises Calcharo’s DMG overall while granting him up to 48% Crit DMG. As a main DPS, he really needs Crit and extra DMG to reliably perform on the battlefield.Lustrous Razoris also a decent choice for Calcharo as he can easily trigger his Resonance Skill twice in a row. It grants him an extra amount of ATK% and Energy Regen, which can help him cast his Resonance Liberation more effectively.
For 4-star, the Pioneer Podcast (Battlepass) Broadblade,Autumntrace, is the best weapon for Calcharo among the available ones. The Broadblade raises his Crit Rate, Basic ATK, and Heavy ATK, which is important since that’s where most of Calcharo’s DMG comes from.
ForRovers that want F2P weapons,Helios Cleaver,Broadblade of Night, andGuardian Broadbladeare all decent options that can hold their own until it’s time to upgrade his weapon for the top-tier ones.
How To Play Calcharo In Wuthering Waves
Calcharo is a versatile character who has a high DPS in many of his attacks. Calcharo has twoForte Gauges, one in his normal state with the other appearing while in hisDeathblade Gear. In his normal state, hitting enemies with hisResonance Skill fills his Gauge. You can also cast his Skills in between his Basic ATK since they work independently and won’t interrupt the Basic ATK count. Once his Forte Guage is filled, use hisHeavy ATKto trigger his Forte Circuit (passive) and unleash the Mercy effect.
When casting hisResonance Liberation, Calcharo will enter his Deathblade Gear state and expand his Forte Gauge. In this state, Calcharo’s Basic ATK, Outro Skill, and Dodge Counter are enhanced for 11 seconds. When using his Basic ATK, you’ll recover his Gauge to unleash hisDeath Messenger Heavy ATKwhen filling it.
Calcharo Forte Priority In Wuthering Waves
Given that most of Calcharo’s DMG comes from his “Mercy” and “Death Messenger” (both considered as Heavy Attack),Forte Circuit should be his priority. The rest are still great and deal tons of DMG so upgrading them is highly recommended. HisIntro Skill is only effectivewhen it’s boosted by his Resonance Liberation, which doesn’t scale with his Intro Skill but rather his Ultimate. So, not leveling up his Intro Skill is viable.
