WWE 2K22recently pulled the curtain back on the 28 characters that it will be added to its already-expansive roster as DLC. In the months ahead, there will be fiveWWE 2K22DLC packs, featuring a variety of classic WWE stars along with modern wrestlers. TheWWE 2K22DLC packs also include some celebrity guest appearances as well, though one of the most obvious choices for a celebrity guest spot is nowhere to be seen.

TheWWE 2K22DLC will feature social media personality/professional boxer Logan Paul as one of the DLC fighters, along with Mr. T andmusician Machine Gun Kelly. All three of these individuals have been featured on WWE television before. Logan Paul, for instance, has made numerous appearances on WWE TV, and he will even be teaming with The Miz to wrestle Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Mr. T, meanwhile, wrestled in the main event of the first-ever WrestleMania and also competed against “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in a boxing match at WrestleMania 2, while Machine Gun Kelly has been powerbombed off the Raw stage by Kevin Owens and helped curate theWWE 2K22soundtrack.

So while some may be confused that these celebrities are going to be added to theWWE 2K22rosteras DLC, they all make sense in their own way. Even so, one of the most obvious celebrity guest characters is oddly not part of the lineup. It seems like a huge missed opportunity onWWE 2K22’s part that musician Bad Bunny is not being added to the game as one of the celebrity guest DLC characters.

While the aforementioned celebrities have been featured on WWE television multiple times, few have had as much success as Bad Bunny. Bad Bunny had an extended feud with John Morrison andThe Miz, which culminated in a WrestleMania 37 victory for Bunny and his tag team partner Damian Priest. Bad Bunny even managed to win the WWE 24/7 Championship, though he ultimately gifted the title to R-Truth after a short run.

Bad Bunny returned to WWE at this past year’s Royal Rumble event, managing to perform an impressive Canadian Destroyer in the match and eliminating two of the competitors before being dumped over the top rope by a rampagingBrock Lesnar. Considering how much Bad Bunny has been used in WWE, it seems strange that he wouldn’t be selected as one of the celebrity guest characters forWWE 2K22’s DLC roster.

Besides Bad Bunny, another celebrity guest that makes a lot sense for theWWE 2K22DLC roster isJackassstar Johnny Knoxville. Knoxville first made appearances for WWE in 2007 and 2008, and then returned in 2022 to compete in the Royal Rumble. For the past few months, Knoxville has been actively feuding with Sami Zayn, going as far as to cost Zayn his Intercontinental Championship. Knoxville is now scheduled to wrestle Zayn at WrestleMania 38, so it would have made sense to include him as a celebrity guest wrestler as well.

WWE 2K22is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
