ALegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer manages to recreate a Jeep Wrangler in the game, complete with working doors and a spare tire. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomallows players to explore their creativity by giving them plenty of tools to play with, and the abilities that utilize them. Thanks to Nintendo providing this freedom, there have already been tons of different contraptions built by players, like a fully functioningHIMARS Rocket Launch System built inTears of the Kingdom. While not as bombastic as that, this player instead made something a little more grounded.
InThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there is a wide variety of parts used for building called Zonai Devices. These devices work as long as the player has enough battery, unless the player builds arechargeable electric car inTears of the Kingdom. There are devices like wheels, steering sticks, fans, rockets, and more all able to be configured into whatever the player pleases, turning the game into a true sandbox for players to experiment with different contraptions to work through problems.

OneTears of the Kingdomplayer has created their own vehicle based on the Jeep Wrangler. Posting on the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit, user AlfredoTheImpasta uploaded a video that showcased their newest four-wheel drive. In the video, it shows the Jeep Wrangler vehicle being driven around, alongside differently angled shots of it. The video shows that the player is using the Spring Zonai device connected to the Sled device to work as the car’s doors, opening out to allow the player in and out. Because of the Spring, though, the user shows that one should be careful opening it, as they could send them off a cliff.
In the comments, many commended the player for their creativity, though some noted that the actual Jeep Wrangler would have the larger tires. In the game, larger tires work better with off-roading than the small tires that the player put in, but the user did say that they have a large wheel version. A contraption like this actually has its uses, unlike some of the other things players have made, like the oneTears of the Kingdomplayer that made a biblically accurate angel.
Whether it’s the simple bikes players make to get around, or the intricately mademechs they use to attack theTears of the Kingdom’s enemies, the amount of freedom at a player’s hand can be a little overwhelming. Thanks to these systems, though, players can show their creativity, even if it’s something like building a real Jeep Wrangler.
