They promptly took online to detail their accomplishment, having done so shortly after anotherTears of the Kingdomplayer managed to improve on a classic hoverbike design.
The newZeldagame adds to its predecessor’s creature pool with over half a dozen new enemies. Bubbulfrogs are the most docile such addition to the game, seeing how they pose no real threat to the player and primarily exist to dropTears of the Kingdom’sBubbul Gems, a new type of collectibles used for unlocking a variety of items and exclusive armor pieces.

Dissatisfied with this singular purpose of these creatures, YouTuber Zeldaswitch9 recently decided to help one Bubbulfrog see the world, having transported them across the game’s map and alongsideall ofTears of the Kingdom’sdragon routes. To do so, this crafty player first had to employ a clever combination of Rewind, Ultrahand, and Autobuild to capture what they deemed was a “lonely” Bubbulfrog in one of the game’s many caves. After transporting the caged creature out of its natural habitat via a makeshift boat, Zeldaswitch9 used a combination of Zonai Hover Stones, Fans, and Rockets in order to take to the skies alongside their newfound companion.
After carefully positioning the creature on a single Hover Stone, the player gradually moved it across the Hyrulean skies, taking it to see all of the game’s four dragons. The entire adventure was surprisingly short, taking less than ten minutes in total. However, the effort was also fairly resource-intensive, as the contraptions used for transporting the Bubbulfrog across the map required dozens of Zonaite pieces to build and plenty of Zonai Charges to power.
In a subsequent Reddit post, Zeldaswitch9 said that this unconventional undertaking was motivated by a desire to help at least one lonely Bubbulfrog “make some friends.” Many fans reacting to this accomplishment on social media praised its author’s creativity and tenaciousness, positing how the feat underlines the incredible level of freedom thatThe Legend of Zelda:Tears of the Kingdomoffers to players.
Despite the lighthearted nature of this achievement, Bubbulfrogs themselves may hide a much darker past. This was recently suggested by anotherTears of the Kingdomplayer who pointed out a creepy Bubbulfrog detailwhich indicates that these glowing cave dwellers have rather disturbing origins.
